Disorders of Sex Differentiation

Disorders of sex differentiation, also known as disorders of sex development (DSD), refer to conditions present from birth in which the development of chromosomal, gonadal, or anatomical sex is abnormal. There are several types of DSDs and their effect on the external and internal reproductive organs varies greatly.

The Northwell Health Genomics Alliance offers many test options for different disorders of sex differentiation.
